A day filled with adventure, geocachers and Danish hygge!
Beautiful Denmark – aMAZing Funen 2026 takes place in Langeskov – a small town in the middle of Denmark! The event itself will take place on Saturday, but in the week leading up to it there will be plenty of opportunities to find fun and challenging geocaches, participate in social, fun and exciting events and log a nice geo-art in Adventure Lab caches.

On the day we need many helpers in shifts of 2-3 hours and if you think this could be something for you, send us an email at smukkedanmark@mega-event.dk and we will get back to you with further information about the tasks.
Practical information:
Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026
Hours: 11.00 – 17.00
Location: Kræmmermarkedspladsen in Langeskov, Grønvangen, Langeskov
Parking: parking space will be set up right outside the event
Public transportation: the train stops at Langeskov Station quite close by.
Admission: pre-sale: DKK 30/person – on the day: DKK 50/person. Children under 18 years are free.
Online store: it will be possible to buy entrance tickets, coins etc. in the online store.
Program for the day: will be available here and on the website as soon as all agreements are finalized.

Special information from the Vaccination Bus:
When geocaching in forest areas, scrub and areas with tall grass, you may want to consider getting vaccinated against TBE.
Stop by the Danish Doctors’ Vaccination Service, which will be present on May 16 from 9:00 – 12:00 with their vaccination bus. Here you can learn more about TBE vaccination, start your vaccination program or get a follow-up TBE vaccine.

Prices:
TBE – Adult: DKK 500 – Tetanus: DKK 300
You do not pay a consultation fee at our vaccination bus and therefore save DKK 175 and get a reduced price on the vaccines. List prices in clinics are DKK 519 for a TBE vaccine and DKK 349 for a tetanus vaccine.
What is TBE?
TBE (Tick-Borne Encephalitis) is a severe encephalitis caused by a virus transmitted by ticks. The disease occurs in wooded and grassy areas in several European countries including Denmark.
Most cases of TBE virus occur between April and November when ticks are active.
There is no treatment for TBE, but the disease can be prevented by vaccination.
Who is at risk?
